The real menu, first two pages
The sample leads with wings: bone-in with a price per count on one line, a 24 count party tray, and boneless, with the sauces in the note under the heading. Then shareables, burgers and sandwiches, game day specials, draft beer, and sides.

What belongs on a sports bar menu
A sports bar menu is ordered by groups watching a screen. It needs food sized for a table, prices by count, and a game day section that turns on and off with the schedule.
Wings, by the count
One line with a labeled price per count, up to three. The sauces go in the note under the heading once, not in every description.
- Bone-in wings6 count 10 / 12 count 18
- Wing party tray, 24 count34
Shareables
Nachos, pretzel bites, a sampler platter. Built for four people passing plates.
- Loaded nachos15
- Sampler platter26
Burgers and sandwiches
Four or five, with the side and the swap options in the note.
- Classic cheeseburger15
Game day specials
A wing deal, a bucket, a pitcher, offered during broadcasts. The note says when.
- Game day wings, 12 count14
- Domestic bucket25
Draft and sides
Three or four drafts with the pour size in the note, then fries, tots, rings.
- Local IPA8
- Onion rings6
Example lines and prices show format only. They are not pricing advice.
How Classic American sets it
Classic American’s centered column and dotted leaders put each wing count’s price side by side at the end of one leader, labeled in small caps. Nobody needs a table to compare them.
Section notes in italic carry the rules: which sauces, what comes with the burger, when the specials run.
The QR code prints on the cover page. In a sports bar most of the room is looking at a screen, not a server; a tent on every table lets the second order happen from the phone.
Prices on a sports bar menu
Wings sell by count, so the counts are labeled prices on one line (6 count, 12 count), and the party tray is its own line because it comes with more. Prices run to $9,999, which covers any platter or bucket.
Game day prices live in their own section instead of a second price on each line. Show it before kickoff and hide it after; Gaslamp does not switch by the clock or the schedule.
Drink specials and bucket deals are regulated by state in some places. Check your local rules before you print one.
Set it up in Gaslamp
- 1
Start from this sports bar menu
Pick Classic American and start from this sample. Every section, line, and price is already in place, so you type your own over it instead of building a blank page.
- 2
Type your dishes over it
Replace each name, description, and price in the editor. Delete the lines you do not serve and add the ones you do. The layout reflows as you type.
- 3
Build the game day section
Type your game day deals into their own section, then hide it. Show it from your phone before kickoff.
- 4
Publish, then print
Publish the live menu behind one QR code that never changes, print the table tents once, and print the PDF whenever the paper copy needs to catch up.
Running it
12:40 p.m.
Kickoff specials on
Twenty minutes before the early game, switch on Game Day Specials and save. Every table that scans sees the wing deal and the buckets.
7:15 p.m.
Out of boneless
The boneless wings ran out in the second quarter. Mark that line sold out and save; the next table sees it struck through and orders bone-in instead of waiting to be told.
Sports bar menus, straight answers
- Is this sports bar menu template free?
- Yes. The Classic American PDF on this page is free to download and print, with no signup. It is a sample, so it carries sample dishes and prices. To put your own menu into the design, start the 14-day free trial, no card needed. The trial includes one published live menu with QR codes. PDF downloads and additional menus start when you pick a plan.
- How do I list wings by count?
- One line with a labeled price per count (6 count 10 / 12 count 18), up to three counts, and the sauces in the note under the heading. The sample lists the 24 count as a party tray line of its own.
- Can game day specials turn on automatically?
- No. Gaslamp does not schedule changes. Keep a Game Day Specials section hidden and switch it on from your phone before kickoff.
- Can I put drink specials on the menu?
- Yes, as their own lines. Some states regulate drink specials and buckets, so check your local rules first.
- Does it connect to my POS?
- No. Gaslamp is the menu guests read. When a price changes, change it in your POS and in Gaslamp.
- How much does it cost?
- Start with a 30-day free trial, no credit card needed. Then it is $19 a month, or $190 a year (2 months free). No setup fee. Cancel anytime. The trial includes one published live menu with QR codes. PDF downloads and additional menus start when you pick a plan.
