Wine bar menu template
Pours by the glass, bottles by the bottle, small plates beside them. Gaslamp’s Elegant Landscape design turns the page sideways: two quiet columns, olive ink, letterspaced heads.

The real menu, both pages
The sample is Maison Sauvage, a fictional bistro and wine bar in Healdsburg: plates on the first page, then a cheese board, a late harvest pour, and a By the Glass list of small Sonoma growers. US Letter, landscape.

Glass and bottle, side by side
A wine list has one job: let someone who is not a sommelier find a glass they will like at the price they expected. Order it so they can.
By the glass
Put the pour size in the note under the heading (6 oz pours, 2 oz tastes), then list wines light to full: sparkling, white, rosé, orange, red, sweet.
- Blanc de Blancs, Russian River18
- Pinot Noir, Russian River19
By the bottle
Its own section, same order, same names, so a guest who liked the glass can find the bottle. The sample keeps glass and bottle in two sections; you can also give a wine two labeled prices, Glass and Bottle, on one line.
- Pinot Noir, Russian River 202276
One convention per line
Producer and wine in the name, region and vintage in the description. Pick the order once and never break it.
The plates
Short and shareable: cheese, charcuterie, a few warm plates. Put them before the wine or after it, never in between.
- Cheese board19
Example lines and prices show format only. They are not pricing advice.

Glass and bottle
Give each wine you pour two labeled prices, Glass and Bottle, on one line, or keep By the Glass and By the Bottle as two sections with the wines in the same order, as the sample does.
- 2
Say the pour
Write the pour size in the note under By the Glass, so the price means something.

Pick Elegant Landscape
The page turns sideways into two columns with a hairline between them. It suits a long list and reads by candlelight.

Keep the list honest
Last bottle of the ’19 gone? Mark it sold out. New vintage in? Change the year. The QR on the bar opens the current list.
Wine bar menus, straight answers
- Is this wine bar menu template free?
- Yes. The Elegant Landscape PDF on this page is free to download and print, with no signup. It is a finished sample for Maison Sauvage in Healdsburg, a fictional restaurant, so it carries that restaurant’s dishes. To put your own menu into the design, start the 14-day free trial, no card needed. The trial includes one published live menu with QR codes. PDF downloads and additional menus start when you pick a plan.
- How do I list glass and bottle prices?
- Either on one line with two labeled prices (Glass 18 / Bottle 72), or as two sections with the same wines in the same order, the way the sample runs.
- Will a long wine list fit?
- A Gaslamp menu holds up to 12 sections of up to 20 lines, with prices up to $9,999. Split a longer list by color or region, or keep the full cellar list as its own menu.
- What order should a wine list go in?
- The common convention is light to full: sparkling, white, rosé, orange, red, then sweet and fortified. It lets a guest point at a neighborhood instead of a name.
- How much does it cost?
- Start with a 30-day free trial, no credit card needed. Then it is $19 a month, or $190 a year (2 months free). No setup fee. Cancel anytime. The trial includes one published live menu with QR codes. PDF downloads and additional menus start when you pick a plan.
